There is a special honor being entrusted to capture the wedding of someone you don't know, but there is an even deeper honor when you've been a witness to their and finally get to see them say "I do."
Jordyn was one of my roommates during our senior year of college. Our apartment was always beautifully organized thanks to her, but it was also full of fun and laughter. Our favorite past-time was watching the first ever season of Love is Blind, and every season since has felt a little dull without her witty commentary.
I had the privilege of watching Jordyn and Peter’s relationship during college, and it was so evident that they were deeply in love. Their relationship wasn’t just one of ease or convenience—it was built on choosing each other, day after day, through every challenge and joy. So when I had the honor of photographing their wedding, I felt such a privilege to be a part of a day they had worked so hard to get to.
This was my first time photographing a wedding at Beaver Station, and I was absolutely stunned by how much beauty was packed into such a small venue. It was the perfect setting for Jordyn and Peter—a warm, intimate celebration with just their closest friends, family, and of course, their sweet dog, Pepper. And while rain may have changed their ceremony plans, it didn’t take away from the overwhelming love and laughter that filled the day.
Re-editing these photos brought back so many emotions, allowing me to relive the joy of celebrating such wonderful people. Jordyn and Peter’s wedding was a reminder that love isn’t just about grand gestures—it’s about the little moments, the unwavering commitment, and the people who make life feel whole.
